Get support: Identify decision makers

If you haven’t already met with decision-makers, their support and approval can make or break a health program. Engage the school principal, clinic director, school board, health committee and/or even tribal council to foster a relationship for program support.

Connect with them early in the planning process to better understand program constraints and requirements from their perspective. Involving these decision-makers in the selection process can help increase buy-in; they will be key partners as you plan, implement and grow your program.
