Get approval if needed

In some settings, you may only need verbal approval from a supervisor to select and implement a new health curriculum. In other settings, it may be necessary to obtain formal approval – such as a Letter of Support or a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) – between partners like a school and a health department. Getting approval in writing can help sustain your program if there is turnover in leadership. An MOA is a mutual agreement that connects partners in a collaborative relationship to support youth. If needed, use the Letter of Support or the MOA template to outline each partner’s roles and responsibilities.
